Every year we take a moment to remember our loved ones together, to celebrate those people who remain truly special to us and who will never be forgotten.
Join us from the comfort of your own home to watch our Light Up a Life Hospice event live online.
The Light Up a Life Hospice event livestream will begin at 4pm on Sunday 7 December.
How to make your dedication
Dedicating a light on our trees to your loved ones is simple.
Once you have made your dedications, you will receive your dedication pack in the post which will include a tribute card personalised with your loved ones’ names, and a card decoration to display at home.

If you received a Light Up a Life dedication form in the post, simply return this to: St Gemma’s Hospice, 329 Harrogate Road, Moortown, LS17 6QD.

Please make your dedications before Friday 21st November to guarantee that they will be displayed on the Roll of Honour and our Dedication book at our Hospice Light Up a Life event.
Our Light Up a Life events
We would like to invite you to join us to remember your loved ones, whether that is at home or at one of our Light Up a Life events.
Light Up a Life at St Gemma’s Hospice
Sunday 7th December, 4pm
Our event at the Hospice is well-attended every year as we are joined by so many of our community who wish to remember their loved ones at this special time.
Everyone is welcome, those with a faith and those without – what matters most is bringing our community together at this special time in a beautiful tribute to those we have lost recently, and over the years.
Light Up a Life at Immaculate Heart Church
Thursday 11th December, 6pm
Church of Immaculate Heart of Mary, 294 Harrogate Road, LS17 6LE
This church event will be a more traditional service, with carols and readings.
The Light Up a Life trees at the church will be switched on for the first time during the service, and you will also have the opportunity to light a candle in memory of your loved one.
Everyone is welcome.

Sunday 7th December, 4pm (Online)
Join us from the comfort of your own home to watch our Light Up a Life Hospice event live.
You can join us in remembering your loved ones, even if you can’t be with us at the Hospice. We will share a link for the live stream before the event.
